Originally composed for piano, To a Wild Rose translates beautifully to harp.
It was written by an American during the officially Romantic Period at the end of the 19th Century and it has the easy, flowing chords characteristic of that time. It is a wonderful crossover between classical music with a modern sensibility. It is a beautiful melody and it’s easy to see why it is becoming popular at weddings more recently.
