This traditional wedding march is so well established as THE wedding march that just hearing the first few bars you can’t help but hear the words in your head, “Here Comes The Bride!”

Originally composed in 1850 by Richard Wagner as a bridal chorus in his opera, Lohengrin, this wedding march quickly became popular after being used for the wedding of Queen Victoria’s daughter in 1858.  “Here Comes The Bride” is still a popular processional today, particularly for traditional and formal weddings.

This classic wedding march comes in FIVE different recording lengths so that you can choose one that lasts exactly as long as you need to walk down the aisle!

The shortest version is just over a minute long while the longest lasts over 4 minutes.

  • Version 1 plays just a little longer at approximately 1 minute and 20 seconds.  For a very short aisle I recommend waiting as the music plays for 30 seconds or so to build anticipation before starting your walk up the aisle.
  • Version 2 plays for just under 2 minutes.
  • Version 3 plays for just over 3 minutes.
  • Version 4 plays for approximately 3 minutes 45 seconds.
  • Version 5 plays for a little over 4 minutes.

Note: Original music by Richard Wagner and arranged for harp by Aisling Ennis
