The first time I saw the Pixar movie Up, I was blown away by the start of the film.  The story of Carl & Ellie’s life together is told so elegantly with just images and music that even the most hard-hearted person was crying by the end of that sequence (crying inside at least…).  It was such a pure portrayal of true love and the happiness of a lifetime together, despite the difficulties they encountered along the way.

I can’t promise you that your marriage will be as successful as Carl and Ellie’s, or that you will still be as deeply in love in 20, 40 or 60 years time… but perhaps the music that so beautifully portrayed their happy life together would be a good start.   This is a modern classic and would be a great choice anywhere during the ceremony.
