Gabriel’s Oboe (also called Nella Fantastia) was first heard in the 1986 film The Mission however it has since become very well known in its own right and also popular at weddings. Originally an instrumental tune for the oboe, this melody moves elegantly to harp.
Gabriel’s Oboe would be ideal for any point during a wedding ceremony but it would be particularly special and unusual as a processional.
