Be Thou My Vision is an old, traditional Irish hymn and the words are thought to go back all the way to the 6th century!  However, it is still very popular today and is often used at weddings and other church services for Christians of all denominations.

As our version has no lyrics included in the music, this beautiful Celtic melody is also suitable for non-religious ceremonies as well.  This is one of my favourites and is great for anywhere during the wedding ceremony.  It would be a lovely way to include a touch of something Celtic in your wedding ceremony.

Be Thou My Vision comes in two lengths to suit your ceremony:

  • The shorter version lasts a little under a minute and a half and is ideal for a short moment of reflection or to accompany a very short ceremony, such as lighting a candle.
  • The longer version plays for nearly than three minutes.  This version is ideal for when a longer piece of music is needed such as during the signing of the registry.
